I have half of a glove assembled and its not pretty  Sad sewing with a 3mm seam means that my feed dogs keep grabbing the fabric and dragging it into the machine *sigh* I don't know what I can do about it so I'm setting them aside for now and working on turning 10 pairs of my brothers trousers into shorts for him. This will increase my stash as I get to keep the fabric I cut off the bottom of the legs *lol*

K_Star... I've never done this, but I think I've heard this trick before... For tiny seams, put a piece of tissue paper under the fabric, and just rip it out of the stitches after. That may be a royal pain too though...

Inspiration without application is moot.

Yep, this is what I was about to suggest. Or you could use tear away stabilizer designed for machine embroidery. It is much stiffer than the tissue paper.

Or just regular paper and use a tiny stitch setting and it should tear away.

I made a really quick card to go along with the baby blanket I finished last month.  Grey doesn't really seem like a good color for baby things, but it went with the Wondermark comic I'd printed out.  Anyways, the package is sent, and the soon-to-be parents should be getting it within the week.  It's such a great feeling to not only finish a project but send it out of the house.  There's no way that's making its way back into the stash.

I know how you feel about getting it out of the house! I delivered my first bagful of baby hats to my sister on Friday so she has to deal with them from now on  Wink
