I second the charity knitting, esp if you knit for the process and techniques. I am thinking of making some baby hats to take to hospital with me when I have this bub in a few weeks. With my first he was in the special care nursery for a few days and we got a cute hat and cardigan to take home from the knits that all the "old ladies" knit for the babies (according to the nurses in the nursery lol). Or I might take some yarn with me and make some whilst I'm in hospital.

I also have a book called "one ball knits" - probably similar to "one skein wonders" and whilst I have only made one thing so far (my yarn stash isn't so huge yet that I have exactly the weight and length of yarn called for - I am more of a fabric hoarder) it has some awesome-looking projects in it. There's a shawl, a felted hat and a shrug that are the reasons I bought the book!

Looking for teal/turquoise/aqua, grey and white (or a combo) fabric for a quilt.

I've made several fabric busting projects, but they are for swap partners so I won't post them yet Smiley

I did whip up these two pads though. I hate when the detergent and softener drip all over my washer & dryer - that is the downside of the kiddos helping with the laundry Smiley

Anyway, I have some more of this print and I'm going to make a cheery curtain for my laundry room window later this week!

PM me for personal swaps! Longing for a "Muffin Man" type poppet for
my son.

I donate my scarves to charity. I have an insane amount of yarn I'm trying to use up. I don't have the attention span to knit something like a sweater or a complicated stitch pattern. I also like things that are portable. I would say 75% of my knitting is scarves that eventually go to charity. My current batch will be donated to the food bank where my Dad volunteers.

texscrapper, that is a brilliant idea. I feel like the top of my dryer is always sticky.

Ow, my fingers hurt Cry

I was wondering also if any of you question just making stuff just because you have the stash...I realize I make a lot of things just because I have the stash and not because I am going to use, sell or give the item away...any of you do that or is it just me?

I don't have to answer that, do I?

I love, love, LOVE the little monsters!! So cute!
And that jewelry roll up is too sweet - my kiddo would totally be into that, especially with the buttons.
I don't have a ton destashed yet, but I will in a day or two. I have a craft fair coming up in two weeks and I am determined to use only what I have. That said, I have a big fat FAIL taped to my forehead this week. I went to good will and dropped some stuff off (yay!) and then actually went in the store and bought a very long cafe valance and a crib skirt. Those willbe made into aprons this week, though, so I don't feel too bad especially since I only spent $5. Woohoo! Now to get off of craftster and start crafting!
