You're so kind, alwaysinmyroom, but don't worry, I can post them now.

This is my stash gathered from far too many locations and here seen trying to eat the dining table:

This is my stash after I searched through all the bits that I had forgotten I had and put them into suitable containers:

This takes a lot longer to do than you might think, but since we're all doing the same thing basically I'm sure you understand Smiley My fabrics have been restrained and contained to one shelf in the linen cupboard. As I work through turning my stash of supplies into things instead of bits of things all those chocolate boxes you see there will be turned into gift boxes and given away so I'll start moving my fabric there.

I'll get around to the next step of prettying up the area (slip cover for chair, curtain for shelves etc) but for now I've got some other crafting to do with my new found crafts supplies!

Great work, JessKelly! It must feel so great having it all in one spot and completely accessible.

Wow--I think your area is so nice and neat...good job!

I feel like I want to haul everything out of my room, repaint it, and start all over...the problem is, where to put the stuff as I try to do this!?  Maybe in the spring I can use the garage...I really want a much neater and more organized area...

I feel like for now, I need to make a few things to help me organize what I have in the way of knitting supplies and yarn...

I have spent the last month or so organizing my art room which is now about 70% done because I am still finding things in the very cold garage to put away. Thankfully I do have the art room very organized so that everything can be moved into our room and the art room can be used as a guest room or party lounge. Here are some photos of the art room at the beginning of the year

And these are some photos I took at 8 am Friday Feb 15th of the nearly finished art room before we moved stuff

It took us 27 minutes to move stuff out, fold up the drafting table, tuck it in the closet, put up the curtain and put down the cushions. This was including cleaning out the vacuum cleaner, bringing the cushions in from the garage and arguing about what is pink and what is red. Here are the results.

Trina--that is remarkable!  I am also loving those clear plastic things you have on the wall...everything is so visible!  And your paint organizers turned out so good...jealous of those!

I have noticed from looking at many "before" pictures that the stash seems to get out of control because things are stacked on the floor and desktops, which then begin to topple over as you try to find things in the stack. One solution seems to be to use wall space and choose organizers that free up your desk and floor. Trina has done that so successfully in her art room.
I think the supplies add visual interest to her guest room as well.

Thanks for your kind words ladies Smiley

That art room is phenomenal. I have a sister who would want to live there and never leave, so don't worry I won't tell her about it Smiley You've done so much work Trinalocakary, it looks like a very inspiring space and so neat: your productivity will probably increase tenfold.

I agree Craftsunderground, it looks like Trina's art supplies are works of art themselves.
