Well I have 2/3rds of the art room organized and now it is time to actually step back and do art before I lose my mind.
Everything unsorted is going back in the garage in one easy to reach area and I will search the garage and put every bit of art and craft stuff together in one area
Then every few days (once a week minimum) I will grab a new box and everything in it will be put away no matter what.
I have a project that involves thirty 5"x5" mixed media paintings that need to be done before March 30 and I need to work on it to stay sane.

Oh well, this is going to be fun, I have another little distraction on the way! Good thing I joined up here in time. Maybe this time I really get around to making all the cute baby stuff that I meant to make for the first one - plus still making stuff for her, as well, of course!

Looking for teal/turquoise/aqua, grey and white (or a combo) fabric for a quilt.

My son loves Peppa Pig's brother George and Raa Raa the noisy lion.

Don't feel bad, Meovari. And don't feel guilty - just tell them, you have stopped buying fabrick, they will understand that. Don't even think of buying stuff you don't need, because someone else expect you to. It is OK to say 'no'. (I have been there, done that, and still struggle with the same attitude)

For those of us who are struggling with the 'What in the world can I do with this?' problem, would selling some of our things still count as destashing?

For myself, I bought two lengths of corduroy last fall for skirts, absolutely fell in love with the material. But once I brought them home, I looked at them and thought 'What in the world was I thinking?'  Shocked

I can honestly say I can't see myself ever using this material.

On a good note, I have begun one of two doll dresses or maybe they will be coats from a left over skein of yarn.

In my opinion anything thing that makes the stash smaller is de-stashing so selling or giving it away works fine  Smiley

I bought a skein of yarn today but it won't be sitting about looking pretty I'm under orders to make hubby more hats  Grin

K-star--are you changing up the ribbing on those Divinity Hats?  I love the pink one...but it does not look like a FPsc ribbing at all...

I did not make anything white or dots for January, but I did manage to destash a ton of kimono scraps and a small portion of yarn...and, I did not buy anything at a craft store, but I did spend $ for yarn...I am not going to buy yarn in February...

I am going to have to do a lot more destashing soon, as my dear Mother will be moving in with me so I can care for her...she will be moving into my office so I have to find a place for my desk and file cabinets somewhere else... talk about forced destashing!

My hubby will be so happy that I found this thread! I am going to play along with you guys this year. Just made something with some pink terry cloth for a swap - ill post pics once my partner receives.

I bought a snap press last month  Shocked but I have been wanting one for ever. I won't set a price limit for the year, but I will try to stick to buying only essentials to finish or complete projects that I craft from my stash.
