That dress is very cute!

Does it still count as stash if I took it out of my stash, put it in the recycling and then decided I needed it so took it out of the recycling bin to use? Anyway I have a useful shallow mushroom basket now.

And almost a plan about my stash busting quilt, I just need a few tools.....

Look twice, buy once. Nooooo
Look twice, decide I can make one instead.

That is such a cute dress! I had planned on using my snow day to craft and organize, but we went to the movies instead Smiley Hopefully this weekend will be a little more productive.

That is such a cute dress, plaidpineapple!
And it absolutely still counts as destashing, Antidigger!

Finding that pattern earlier inspired me! I sorted through three boxes of patterns and got it down to two- all in numerical order, divided by pattern company. And I now have 36 patterns to post on ebay, as soon as I get brave enough to activate my account, that is...

I love that dress. Makes me wish for summer. I am slowly clearing the floor and tabletops. Have got a lot of crafting done lately with stash but the items are so small.

I have a split personality, because you guys crack me up.  AND The best day I ever had was TODAY!

Tomorrow I am buying a big pack of cheapie zip ties so I can make one of these 12" paper sorters using more of my wire grids, I have a lot of them but have lost the connecting pieces.

I got 3 hrs of sorting done, it just seems to take so long to get all the random bits sorted out, though I did have some "help" from my cat who took over one of my sorting bins

Maybe our cats are related.  This is what happened when I was redoing the cubes to move patterns in...

I wasn't going to join this one.... But I think I might might.  I just bought a tool that will make de-stashing (I'd like to point out at this point my iPad corrected that to due stashing....  No!  No more stashing!  I've got enough fibre to spin for a year!). It's called a picker, and it opens wool up to make carding more efficient and quick.  Which will lead to spinning the umpteen fleeces I have so much easier.   So, the more room I make, by spinning, the better I will feel about buying the odd bit of fluff, or even whole fleece....

Here's another cat organizing helper. He's not that much of a helper. He mainly gets cat hair on everything, but he's good company.

It makes me wish I had a cat to "help" too. Not much actual help, I know, but it would be a nice distraction.

And I have a special Viking crush on the leather, wool and linen parts of Wolf's stash Wink

Be careful, Ruby - I might just box it up and send it to you!

I sorted all my fabric scraps by colour into bags. Now I have to figure out a proper way to store it, as the bags are really in the way. Since then I've been tackling small problems around the periphery, in hopes that they will somehow cascade into a large space opening up. (Unfortunately, life is rarely like Tetris.) I've moved the thread stash twice now, and I'm still not sure it's being stored in the most efficient way, but it's sure a lot better than it was. But the amount of space all this has created could be filled by about four shoe boxes. (Which I'm hoping to scrounge this afternoon.)
