Today, I made a HUGE mitten out of two king sized sheets (which I will take to school for my kiddos to use, plus it keeps it out of my house Smiley )and I made a pair of lace shorts! I am going to miss being able to craft in peace on Sundays when football is on Tongue

trinalocakary, yes, it is a mitten like a glove! I'm using it with the book called "The Mitten" and it's big enough for the kids to crawl in and pretend to be the animals that try to live in the mitten. I'll post pictures hopefully tomorrow when I can get some action shots. My living room isn't big enough to show the full effect.

I spent a few hours yesterday sorting through my paper craft items. Whew! I'm in the home stretch in my organizing! If I have get a few more hours today I should be able to finish up today and then post "after" photos!

Most of my stuff is in a storage unit, but I'm going to start going through the stuff I have here at the house today. Then as I get things figured out (and if I end up having room) I can start bringing some of the stuff from the storage unit to the house.

wow--you guys are doing great!  K-star--what a good use of those random granny squares...I have a whole bunch of them from learning different stitches  and experimenting with colors...ha ha you are so right, the dog won't care...

I am happy to report that I was able to reclaim one plastic bin that used to hold yarn!!  Instead of filling it back up, I put it in the garage to be used to hold my mushroom soil this summer!

I also threw out tons of patterns and magazines of stuff I will never make...cleaned off my workspace and washed it down really good...and, I almost used up two skeins of the yarn I purchased, so it will not become stash!

You guys are really really motivating this year!

Awesome stuff everyone!

Everyone cleaning up their spaces has me motivated.  I'm going to try to dedicate one day this upcoming weekend to clean up my crafting area (we've got something going on almost every weekend for the next month +).  I probably won't get much destashing done this weekend, as I have a swap that needs to get done, but at least get stuff tidied up.
