Oh I'm so sorry for your carpul tunnel. I do know how it is. I have it too mostly on my left hand & it's atrophying by my thumb & I jam my ring finger when I fell awhile back so it's deform & broke my pinky a few years ago & didn't get it striaighten & it catches on things. I'm not saying these things to say I'm worse than you. Just telling what I go through everyday.
I have had in the past 10 yrs had 2 total hip replacments 1 knee total replacment & Just recently my right shoulder total replacment. In March 2009 I found out I had breast cancer but caught it early & so far so good after I had radation. It's going on 4yrs. I have days I don't want get out of bed, but I have to because my Husband & I have a paper route everymorning for all most 3 yrs. we don't like gettin up but afterwards it's fun & we have quality time together.  I just wrap the papers he walks them. But on the last route we have a Retirement Senior Home & we go inside to deliver & I help him with that & It has help me a lot & him too. He also is a subsitute Teacher & a Real Estate agent!
My husband works at the Retirement Senior Home also as the bus driver & he takes them to appts. & shopping  & sometimes to concerts, movies, plays, picnics in the summer & I go along sometimes & we all get along great!
I have to look foward to something like doing a swap or going with the Seniors so I will get out of bed & not be thinking about myself & to know there are a lot worse off people that me. I love Craftster's & I'm on here maybe to much as my husband would say. But I think it has save me for sure!
I'm going to try & destash here in a week or so after I get my swaps done. It's hard  for me to carry things upstairs especially with my shoulder still mending & I can't stand to long. I still do client's hair but I have a stool to sit on when I need it in my home Salon.
I love the support here & being able to tell our problems & to show our messy craft room here on Craftster. Thanks so much for letting us do that!

The bigger area my cutting table & It was clean & in order at one time. I just don't like to put my fabric in bins, then I forget what I have.


I have several roll abouts but doesn't help really I forget what's in there & spend have my time looking for what I want & then I'm too tired to do anything when I do find it.


This is from the opposite end of the room & more messy things plus My Barbie doll closet I want to redo someday. So there it is all my mess. Thanks for looking.

As a recipient of her art doll I heartfeltly agree. Sharalee, you place reminds me of mine. Hope you heal quickly. I am lucky about not having carpal tunnel as much time as I spend on computers at home and at work.

So happy you have a hubby to share lives with.

Oh, and I spotted the tree doll there. LOL

I'm not showing pictures because I had a mad moment or several and actually sorted my stash last week so it all looks tidy (ish, or at least as tidy as it ever gets).

But I do want to tell you about a brain wave I had. I have a shelf called random stuff. Now I can shove anything on there, and it's still tidy! Actually there was a point to it, and that was that I can put anything on there, and when it gets too full I only have one shelf to sort out. I am resolving to not put anything anywhere else that it doesn't belong and also to sort out that shelf when it does get full.

Totally agree! If neither of those happen you'll still be getting out and getting coffee. Coffee is always a good thing!

Thanks "alwaysinmyroom" for your sweet comments. I have straighten & thrown away before many times, but I just can't put things back where they should go. I have done 1 good thing (I think)I have save the bags that sheets & blankets & other bags for years, so now I use them for each project I do & that helps some & I'm getting them out of my stash.

"Lovesclutter" I thought you might see the Tree Doll. Yes I look at her everyday! Yes your lucky you don't have carpal tunnel. Thanks for your special kind thoughts!! Yes My husband & I are great friends besides being married for all most 24 yrs.

antidigger--I have a few bins where I just sweep stuff into and then when they get full, I put things back...it seems to help as I am not frantic to clean up but I still have a tidy (as tidy as I can be!) place to work!

I've been shifting,sorting and pushing things from one corner to another to try and make room for the return of the prodigal son. So far I have a pile of his laundry and his dog! She's a handful to put it mildly but I have faith that hubby can whip her into shape pretty smartly. That's a figurative whip before anyone gets any wrong ideas

I have been working on organizing off and on for the past year. It has cut into my destashing project time. My current goal is to have this corner finished by spring. I have drawers for stamping in the closet to the right. Under the white roll top desk are my canvases and such. As you can see the drawers are so full they wont close and I have more craft jumble in the dry sink. I want to fix the dry sink up, paint it green and add porcelain knobs and an enamel dishpan to collect a select few items. The white desk needs to go into a bedroom.
