It's an explosion of baby stuff around here! I needed a quickie gift for an impromptu baby shower, so I made a receiving blanket and a few more burp clothes.

Appliqued Receiving Blankie - chevron & minky - so soft!!

and a few more embroidered/appliqued burp clothes

I had a similar problem with my bead containers, but I had a different approach. My lids are screw on (so I know they are secure) and I just turned the tubs upside down. It also gives me an idea of how much I have.

The cutest baby stuff! There is a soon-due bump in my extended family, I'm feeling a lil' baby crafting itch!

Dulcet, that's a bummer that the kitty litter trick didn't work to get the musty smell out of your fabric Sad. I left it in a suitcase for about 3 weeks and it did the trick but it was only slightly stale smelling in there, not full on I-got-damp-in-a-basement stank or anything. Oh well, better luck with the next suggestion.

I thought about hot gluing a bead onto the tops of all those vials but there are just SO many of them! Ugh, it would take me hours. The lids just snap on too so putting them upside down makes me too nervous. I'll just hold the drawer up over my head to see the colours when I want to use them, lol. They're see-through, that'll work Cheesy

The bad news: There is no key to happiness.
The good news: It isn't locked.

craftylittlemonkey very good condensing efforts, you have inspired me; I think I will go back over some of the stash I have organised and downsized and see if it can be downsized even further.

texscrapper I am certain the baby shower gifts must have been appreciated, they are so personalised and thoughtful!

I am sorry I have been rather quiet as of late. My job was sooper busy. Now that things have calmed down a bit I started crocheting a baby blanket for a coworker and I am making a list of some other projects to start. I will get back to de-stashing now that life has calmed a bit. Smiley

A small stash reduction project; I bound a notebook from stash papers and stitched a stash fabric cover. Just in time too, it is a gift for someone leaving on a trip overseas (so they can document their adventure) and I see them for the last time tomorrow! The rush is my excuse for the washed out photo and slightly crooked cover, but it was my first time making a journal from scratch so I was very happy with it and wanted to make sure I took a picture to share with you  Smiley

Very pretty. Is that supposed to be an umbrella or is that just what is on my mind from the rain outside?

Okay my partner in the one little pincushion swap has gotten her package so I can show you all the two I did for her.  Yes we agreed on two.

I send other things, But the only pics I have of them show other swap things in the background and that one hasn't gone out yet. I found one I could use woohoo So gotta wait
I took both idea's from her Pinterest List

The first one from this how to

The second was inspired from this image, but the link did not work. So I had to create it myself.

I just had to make some pins to go with them

well and wonderment
