Very cute towels!  Love the colors!

carolmb--what a nice way to use up a few stray block!  I enjoyed making those blocks--they are unusual!  Your free motion quilting looks good!  You just have to do it...Cheesy

It was nice to actually start using some of the massive amounts of stretch knit I have stored up for some reason. Though it makes me wish I had a serger!

texscrapper, I too have a fabric problem.  Embarrassed

Looking for teal/turquoise/aqua, grey and white (or a combo) fabric for a quilt.

My son loves Peppa Pig's brother George and Raa Raa the noisy lion.

ehinders - I finally decided to buy a serger - just a basic one! I feel like it will make me more confident in giving/selling my sewn projects. So for V-Day, hubby is giving me a brother 1034D Smiley

craftylittlemonkey, you're so organized. Will you please come organize my beads?
texscrapper, I love the fabric papertowels. I've been saying for years that I'm going to make some.
Coralmb, what is free montion quilting?

I have yet another charity scarf. I decide to change it up a bit and use a basket weave stitch.

Free motion quilting is when you drop the feed dogs on your machine and you control all the movement. You usually use a darning foot. You can basically draw patterns and scribbles etc. on the quilt.

(If that's not the best description, please feel free to clarify.)

meleriffic: Ya nailed it. drop the feed dogs, put on the darning foot and away Ya go. You control the size by moving the fabric.

michelleandbean: It was pretty interesting to try. I do have to learn to keep moving my fabric in the same direction or to stop completely. When moving in a different direction the stitches on the back look bad. But all in all it was pretty fun to try. I did learn that even with the darning foot down the fabric moves very easily without the feed dogs. Is why you have to use both hands when moving the fabric.

alwaysinmyroom: thanks, It was fun. I do need to pick a speed when doing the free motion you really can not speed up, slow down. I would like to be able in the future to do some of the beautiful designs out there on quilts.

rottenlittleboys: thanks it's was from the last quilt block swap round. It was fun to make once I changed it a little. I don't like templates, so I reworked it to rotarty cutting.

I think the craft gods sent the blizzard here to New England to kick my butt into gear! I'm about to shut myself up in the craftroom for the day...
