I've been watching this thread, and I think I'm ready to commit now.  My goal is to finish a UFO each month.  So far I'm ahead, because I've finished two in the last week!  But it seems that I'm working backwards, and finishing the most recent UFO's first.  But I guess that's how they're stacked in the piles in my space.  I'll dig my way through to the oldest!

I'll post pictures soon.

Scholars and artists...differ most importantly in the way their knowledge is come by.  Scholars get theirs with conscientious thoroughness along projected lines of logic; poets...stick to nothing deliberately, but let what will stick to them like burrs where they walk in the fields.

Ezri_B I totally love that purse. I bet you put a lot of work into it.

I definitely need a new one for work, too. I'm aiming for something like that: http://chubbycheeks.no/Produkter

craftylittlemonkey, I love the dress you made for the fabric doll. I would love to have one in my size. The fabrics are great.

I managed to destash 2 skeins of yarn making scarves for charity.

I also used up 2 balls of cotton yarn leftover from other dishcloths.

The post is here, though it doesn't say much more - the important thing is he is made completely out of stash!  Cheesy

I am really soaking it down with school glue but when they dry and I am done decorating them I will coat the backs with a good thick coat of glue then restaple it when it dries, I will be doing some sewing and wiring through the canvases so that should help secure things.

I've been working on scarves too, for next year's students for Xmas.  I've used up a lot of yarn too.  Next I'll work on hats.

alwaysinmyroom- thank you so much! The outside took me about 10 hours, but the lining took forever. I was very indecisive, and only had so much fabric, so I didn't want to mis-cut.

silk81- Thanks, I really love that bag that you posted. I may have to make a small one similar to that for shopping!

You guys are master destashers! Great projects everyone!

My inventory is complete.  ( more or less, I didn't CPU t the felting fluff, but it probably only adds up to 1 lb of misc colored  wool anyway.). I have over 100 types of fibres. Mostly wool, but there's  silk and mohair and cashmere and ingeo, and even some glow in the dark polyester.  But 100 types!!! I've not added up the weight yet, but I'm sure it's going to be attrocious.   ....Gah!  As I'm typing this, I just remembered where there is at least 8 more fibre types.  All probably weighing 6oz each give or take...  Oyoyoy.

That's a really cute pattern.  I love the way the fabrics came out.
