Hello again!

I'd start out my post with the usual apologies for my absence, but I have a feeling you're all sick of those by this point.  On to the actual De-Stashing progress.

First and foremost a set of cards I made ages ago but only just got around to photographing.  My mother moved to Pittsburgh over the summer and I made these for her "change of address" letters.

I made a bunch of little flowers, which didn't even make a dent in the crochet thread stash.  No idea what I'm going to use them for, but they were fun.

On the crochet theme, I made this dress about a month ago, but it fell behind the couch and I just got it finished this morning.

I used up a box and some cardboard scraps I was saving for who-knows-what reason to make an organizer for scrapbook materials.  I have mixed feelings about it so far.

I turned a box full of tangled ribbon and some matte board remnants into a bunch of these.  I just took a picture of the more colorful examples.

While wrapping a gift I realized I had no bows, so a piece of scrapbook paper, hot glue, and a button turned into this.

And that's what I've got to show for September.  I've got several projects in various stages of completion.  My current goal is to get all of those done this week before tackling anything new.

Darn it. I have to DeStash-Along. You have done a great job of things, gaudiknight!
Will you come to my house and help me??? Just kidding.
I have sooooo many UFO (Unfinished Objects) that is unreal!
I keep looking for ways to re-purpose stuff, but sheeeesh!
I like your box organizer. It looks tidy...if it works for you. You won't know until you "test drive it", though.
Cute dress on Dolly Duds. Love the colors.
Very good origami, too. I like that bow better than the ones in the store! Great last minute detail.

The little dolly dress is sweeeet  Grin

I've almost finished a baby blanket using up some stash yarn,I have ends to darn in and then I can snap a piccie.

I don't know how well I'll do at whipping the WiPs into shape  Embarrassed Hubby was nagging enquiring about his two unfinished sweaters the other night so I really ought to get them out and do some work on them.

It always helps when you have someone to bother you about your crafting status. My mother asks me often how my projects are going so I try to get more done. That way when she asks I can tell her how much farther I am.  Cheesy

It usually works the opposite for me VampedAngel, I dig my heels in and say what about the _______ that you never finished for me  Wink

Stash baby blanket
29" x 36" in DK acrylic. I had to add a second colour to the main body so it would tie in the edging, the only drawback of stashbusting for me.
The pattern is December from A Year of Baby Blankets 4 which I think is a Leisure Arts booklet.

K_Starr -- that baby afghan looks snuggly.  If I knew anybody pregnant I'd try one.

I'm going to loosely interpret the themes for this month.  Instead of crafting from a book I've had around (not that I don't have any of those!) I'm going to use a pattern.  I bought it two or three years ago because  I loved the look of it.  It's for a costume and this year my daughter's request is perfect for it.  Plus I should be able to use stash fabric almost exclusively!  I'm so excited!

I have boxes of vintage piano music.  Some as old as 1890's!  PM me if you'd like some!

I made a wrist wallet for my sister Yvette, crafting for her is like crafting for a teenage boy  Cheesy it is black suedette with skull and crossed bones lining. I'm making child size ones in the OWS and when she saw my practise one she immediately asked if I could make one for her  Smiley

Baby blanket for my brothers soon to be baby. His fiance is due the end of this month. They don't know what they are having because they want it to be a surprise. I had this yarn in my stash and figured cream was a neutral color. I still have a half skein of this yarn left which I'm using to make hats with.
