Grosgrain ribbon bracelet - kids favor

I don't really sew but can use basic functions of a sewing machine.  I bought 2 ribbons (my little pony and ninjago eyes), both 1" in width.  I would like to make SIMPLE bracelets as party favors for my daughter's birthday... by sewing one printed ribbon to a plain one on the back.  I'm not sure how to make the bracelet part and looking for suggestions... something very easy.  Should I use 2 D rings, velcro squares or snaps?? Is there a better solution?

The easiest way would be to use velcro.  That would make it easier for children to put on and take off themselves.  Just make sure you get the kind WITHOUT adhesive on the back.  Trying to sew through the glue is murder on your machine and needles.
