Yearning to swap but new.

Hi there, allowing my fingers to take me where they will has led me to this website. And as I eagerly signed up for full membership - I'm now yearning to get going.
But.............
There is a problem............ . Much as my fingers can find there way round a pair of dp needles or a vat of fleece dying - I am terrible with technology.
I have read through the help guides but am still flailing so please don't point me in that direction.
It would be really helpful if fellow newbies could give me some step by step tips to cast me on my swapping journey.

go to the craft swap board here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?board=75.0 find one that's got a theme you like. read through all the requirements carefully to make sure you'll be able to meet the crafting requirements and the time deadline. if everything looks good then fill out the questionnaire and send it in a personal message to the organizer. if you have questions about a specific swap then you can always message the organizer with a question or post a question on the thread for that swap. it can seem a little overwhelming at first but once you get your first swap under you belt it becomes less stressful and is super fun. you might want to start off with a smaller swap like an OTT  (one tiny thing). also, here's the links to all the official rules for swapping and whatnot  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=229624.0     http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=175758.0

Also, remember to be patient...you will be eligible to swap after you've been a member of Craftster for a month and have posted at least 15 times. That gives you lots of time to explore this site.  Welcome!

Welcome, P_E_S_T! We're always glad to have new swappers join the ranks. As Leslieshappyheart said, you will have to be a member for a full month before you can join a swap. While you wait, have fun looking around, post projects of your own, and check out the many swap galleries that we have. I know it's difficult to wait, but the month will fly by, I promise.
