My little brother got married so I decided to attempt to make him some side tables. I'd never really done any wood working projects this big before so I went for a simple design.

It's all made of cherry except for the two accent squares of zebra wood. Never having done drawers before I was very concerned they weren't going to turn out, but with a lot of sanding and some paste wax, they are so smooth. To finish it I used Tung oil and the a wipe on poly finish.

I love how they turned out and the newlyweds loved them too. They fit perfectly at their new place.
