this little one is Lilac. she's my first cupcake doll. thanks to ghillie for her awesome patterns!  her hair_is a bit wonky. I'm wondering which hair technique works best for a beginner.

I made 5 Cupcake dolls for Christmas (first time dollmaking, might as well jump in feet first with a huge project!)  I learned to crochet just so I could follow Ghilie's doll wig tutorial (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=262441.0  I like using it, because I can just baste the wig on and it's easily changeable if the doll demands a new hairstyle later!
