I am still a little confused about how this works, do you have to stay in the swap all year, or sign up on a two monthly basis, do you retain the same partner, or get a new partner each month??

This is a one time swap. It is a once a month swap which I hope to be able to keep up for the whole year.  There will be a new partner each month.  This one covers two months of odd holidays since I wanted to cover all of them this year and January would have missed out.  I hope this helps!

I'm really tempted by this swap, such a fun theme! My mind is also blown by the awesome holidays I've been missing out on...time to rectify that and get celebrating

Hmmmm - some of those "holidays" sound fun - National Hot Tea month???  I may have to keep this in mind.

mini_mum: As a bibliophile, yes, "read in the bath day" tempts too Though bath safety makes me laugh. I almost put both on my list, but Read in the bath just makes me sigh and wish I had a better tub. I grew up with claw foot tubs; I'm now in an apartment with a standard tub. It just doesn't work the same.

I did the MOH swaps when they were around a while ago. Its fun because there are many weird holidays to pick from and they can be interpreted different ways. They can be really fun to craft for!

YES! I almost missed this! HOW did I almost miss this? I organized the last one in 2010 and I've been making the calenders ever since. I just finished compiling the calenders for Jan - June 2013. I am so excited! I am contemplating starting blogging our MOH (Monthly Odd Hansens? Eh? Eh?) adventures. Love it! There was a thread on the swap theme ideas board you should post the link for this in.

ETA: If anyone wants the calenders I made up shoot me a message with your email and I'll send it to you. I'll see if I can get it uploaded on like Google Docs or something for everyone, too.
