I finished this Newborn basketball hat a few days ago ... It was my first time sewing a chain down like it called for & I'm not thrilled with how it turned out lol I think I'm going to take them off & try again!

And here is a baby bonnet I finished yesterday. I tend to get ahead of myself sometimes & totally did not pay attention to the fact that the pattern changed (the bobbles weren't supposed to be lined up like that) but of course I didn't notice until I was close to finishing the hat ... So. Guess I'll be making it again here soon! You can't see it but there is a white later in the very back, then I did a white edging on it.

I found this pattern and have started one in a pale lemon colour. http://www.mooglyblog.com/blackberry-salad-striped-baby-bonnet/

Made this today, I have 3 more to make to make this months target  Grin pretty good when I didn't start until  half way through the month.

And the bonnet

I made a baby head by stuffing a stocking, I'm going to have to sculpt it a bit and make a face on it though, I can't leave it blank  Cheesy

Such cute bobbly hats!

What a good idea to stuff a stocking to a baby size head!  I have a chart but it would be nice to have an actual "head"...

I am sort of burned out on crochet hats...I will be watching to steal some patterns... Cheesy

I didn't get my crocodile stitch baby hat made this month, but there's always next month! I do think I'll be making a brain waves hat next... then I can do the baby hat!

I really like that bobble hat pattern! I love bobbles Smiley

Hi ladies, sorry I hadn't gotten back sooner with a pattern link for the bobble bonnet. My hard drive crashed on my computer which really sucks ... I lost alot of stuff I hadn't backed up in awhile. Lesson learned I guess. Just thanking God I didn't lose pictures of my little angel Landan that I can never replace or the birth of my second son. Phew! Did lose some of my photography pictures though but thankfully did not have any clients waiting on pics!

Didn't make any new hats while my computer has been getting fixed but started working on some Meningitis Awareness pins (what my 3yr old passed away from in 2006) since World Meningitis Awareness Day is coming up at the end of the month.

And here is the link for the bonnet, I remade it the right way so I'll have to post a picture of that soon. It looks beautiful with the bobbles offset like the pattern calls for - http://www.mooglyblog.com/blackberry-salad-striped-baby-bonnet/

And yea ... have to take my computer BACK tomorrow because they sent it home with us prematurely as important files are missing off of it. GRRR! lol

ETA - I see you found it Kookaloo! And super adorable bonnet!

iZombie & Kookaloo, thanks for that pattern link. That bobble bonnet is just too adorable!

And, that1girl, you are another hat-making machine! I need to make a hat for April, but I've been a bit bogged down by other things. Maybe I need to make myself a spring beret!

wow--lots of hats!  That1girl,I love how you made the brain waves one more like a dreadlock hat instead of a tight beanie!

I actually made our of the brain waves hats--I am going to be catching up with pics soon...this has been a very busy and stressful three months for me, but I am getting through it by keeping my crafting mojo going! :d
