Nicely done, that1girl! A beret style hat, not as slouchy as your mesh hat, is on my list of hats to try for myself. Hats, in general, do not look good on me, so I'm hoping a beret might work!

I'm almost done with my crochet-on-the-double hat! I've started the last section, which I'll finish when I get home this afternoon, and then I'll seam it together and weave in the tails.

I think I'll try a baby hat that has some crocodile stitch in it next...

I'd love to participate in this & see the other items people come up with. I'm also a photographer so being able to make my own hats is amazing!

Welcome!  It is nice to share patterns and ideas and be inspired by others in this craftalong!  ha ha I adore that party hat!!!

I am also going to do a few brainwave beanies..nice way to use up the little bits...

I made my hubby a rasta inspired hat, which he wears all the time, so I need to snatch it and take a picture!

Right now, I am knitting more than crocheting, but a few of those party hats might need to be done... Cheesy

iZombieMom, great list of hats! I've bookmarked a few, especially the baby hats. Seems like there's always someone at work who is expecting!

I've got a hat finished, and just need to photograph it. I'll do that when I get in from shoveling. I can hear my neighbors out there, so it must be time Wink

Here's my finished hat! It's Mio's Hat, by fantasticmio (http://fantasticmio.com/hat/), and it uses crochet-on-the-double. It is a good man-sized hat, and the CotD makes it reversible, too. It also seems like it would be pretty warm, too!

Smiley

We have state testing to deal with for the next 2 days (at least in 6th grade), and since we can't do any computer work, or grade any papers, but have to walk around for the entire testing time (about 3 hours) to monitor the kids, I just might have to bring a crochet project (I worked on a scarf a few years ago), and a dishcloth might just fit the bill. Now, to check for a simple pattern so I don't have to focus on it too much...

I'm making a baby hat next, and then I'm definitely making a Brain Waves beanie. Such a cool design!
