What a cute hat!  I love the way the varigated colors come out in that pattern.  Great job.

I think I have some of that yarn too!  Hhhhmmmm... maybe there will be an American version of that hat....

Great new hat links! And, I love the latest finished hats. The Divine hat is so cute in a child sized version!

This year, I'm hoping to make a stash of crafted items so I can set up a "booth" (in the living room Smiley ) and give friends a "gift card" to use at my "craft booth". They can "shop" for their own gift Smiley Depending on what's left, things may be charity bound...

I just made and frogged the blueberry beret..Sad...it was too big so I scaled it down, but it still does not lay properly on my head and I did not like the way the increases caused rippling instead of a nice smooth circle...I would recommend trying a softer yarn--I used a worsted wool...it is also a very open pattern, which is pretty, but not practical for me...

Anybody else have a cute, more closed beret pattern?

Sorry no beret patterns here.  Roll Eyes

I worked on the Two Roads hat and got to the band with slip stitches only to frog it.  I was using a dark purple and stitches were hard to see which was a problem when I got to this area.  I won't let that stop me from making this pattern but I'm a bit perturbed with this one right now so I'm going to have to work on something else first.

I love dark colors, but it can be troublesome when crocheting or knitting.  I think I might invest in a lighted crochet hook.  My girlfriend has several and swears by them.

I think I will spend my lunch hour hunting for patterns... Cheesy

Thanks for posting comments about specific patterns. I was toying with the idea of making the blueberry beret, but now I think I'll wait. I did take a peek at the Two Roads pattern, and I think I actually like version 1 better, and now that I know the slip stitch band can be fussy, I'll probably make version 1.

I am pooped right now, so I'll wait until tomorrow to sew the buttons on my hat from last Friday. So, pictures tomorrow!

Oh my gosh, I gotta put the Divine on my list.  Everyone's Divine is turning out divine!

Here's my latest Baseball Cap, but it looks much nicer than a baseball cap.  I might just use the pattern without the brim to make a flapper-style hat.  I used Bernat Super Saver in Teal Heather.  Can you see the flapper hat in this color with some peacock feathers tucked behind the flower, and then beads crocheted into the band?

My friend was nice enough to gift this pattern to me.  I don't usually buy patterns. Here's the link on etsy:

I learned how to do reverse single crochet from this pattern-- a great stitch to add to the stitch "tool box."

That came out great Balatong! I haven't learned reverse single crochet yet, so I might have to put the pattern on my own wish list!
