That baby turban is cute!

I just saw this new pattern on ravelry I think it will have to go on my list...

I've also made this beauty for my son, I may need to make another.  It it challenging but I love the outcome.

I may need to splurge on this one by Aaron, his patterns are so intricate and visually interesting.

What is everyone doing with all their hats?  I am trying to decide since my family currently has all the hats they'll wear (they're a picky bunch).  I'm trying to decide, rescue mission or cancer center... any other thoughts?

I usually start with family and friends and then do some random acts of kindness things where I will just hand someone a hat and then I take whatever is left to our local homeless shelter...I love making hats but there is a limit on how many can be worn by people I know! Cheesy

Thanks everyone for wonderful patterns!  My collection of crochet patterns is growing!

I started the stranded hat this morning...the picture is a bit deceiving because they are actual TWO hats and are not reversible in those colors...just one side is smoother and the other is ribbed...but, it is still a fun and wonderful hat...nice and thick and very versatile!  I am going to use it to make some men's hats as the shelter I go to is mostly for men...

WOW--I just looked at Aaron's hats!  I love complex patterns in solid colors to show off the actual stitches...I might not splurge for yarn but I definitely will splurge for patterns!  I wonder if he has a book?

awww--so cute!  The flower is perfect for a girl!  I also like the edge--the ribbing always looks so nice to me in crochet!

Oh WOW all those lovely, cabled MAN appropriate hats! I do struggle to find hat patterns that the menfolk like and would wear.

RhymeswOrange are the patterns easily understandable?

It was a challenging pattern but the instructions were clear.  He does a good job of setting up his explanations of special stitches and methods at the beginning of the pattern.   If you're comfortable with funky stitches like front post half double crochet, etc. then you would be fine.

Just finished my first hat of the year... The Divine Hat
I am donating it to my sister's kindergarten class, in case someone forgets their hat.  (It's cold in Canada!)
