I ADORE this wall and after reading the entire blog "Sawdust and Embryos" I have several ideas for painting the backplash in my kitchen.  I can't wait to get started!

Thank you, everyone! I still get happy about it when I go in there, which I'm going to say is a great thing. I totally encourage anyone that's willing to try it, DO IT! I didn't realize I'd still feel this good about it afterwards, haha. And I'd suggest keeping a small level with you while you're taping. The photos don't show it, but some of my lines are a bit wavy and uneven, but hey! It gives it character, and I LOVE character.
