I've got a plan already, but I have to brainstorm a little more on the details to better incorporate my partner's themes. I'm also excited because she is fine with alternate quilt materials/techniques I can't wait to experiment.... (can someone say needle-felting? )

Your techniques are sooo awesome.. I can't wait to see my quilt.
I've been brainstorming,and I think I know the direction I want to take now.
I'll probably get started in the next couple of days ! yay!

I tossed my first idea but came up with a plan and started this weekend... I have a feeling it will take me forever, but I am excited to at least know what I'm doing now.

I am thinking I get to use a whole freaking bunch of different techniques. And use most of, if not all, themes on offer. It'll either be the greatest fun thing, or a train wreck! Only time will tell if I can pull it off.


No fears tho. I have a calm and critical eye in hubby to make sure I don't get too carried away.

I hosted a craft meetup tonight and finished the three things I planned to work on, so I started picking through my stash to find materials tonight

Well my in-laws are officially back at their own home tonight and I have some pretty good ideas! Will be drawing them out and picking fabrics by weeks end! I am very excited!

I have my design.  I have my fabric.  I'm not entirely sure of the construction details yet but it has potential.

Well I have my plan!!! ha ha!!! 

This morning I started to get everything drawn out and organized! I will be off to the fabric shop probably today to start collecting some supplies! I don't have enough brighter colors for this!!!

Hoping to get some construction stuff out of the way in the next few days and then begin the layout and hopfefully be sewing by the weekend... I have another swap to finish up today and tomorrow... but once it's in the mail it's on to this full steam ahead!

So i tested the technique I was unsure about and it turned out great, but I realized I dislike some of the fabrics I was going to use in it with that specific technique, so I will hopefully make it to the fabric store tomorrow or Wednesday.

Hehe... I'm proud of myself for signing up for meetup and becoming an active member of a craft meetup You should check out meetup.com if you are interested... I joined last January when I had moved here from Florida, and I have made almost all my friend here through the group. And I am super productive, as mentioned in the previous comment
