Smmart--fabulous choices of fabrics...I want an outfit made from all of those fabrics!  I especially love how you did the nose with strips...and, you now have me wanting to try your silk scarf painting technique!  It is gorgeous!

I howled when I saw the Minnesota doll all decked out in her winter gear!   Very cute idea! 

I will be showing off the twin to my doll---I swear Wendiek and I were on the same page when making our dolls!  I still can't believe how fast we both got our packages from international mailing!  It was meant to be!

Haha I knew how much Susan like cats, so it just had to happen!!

I am so so glad she arrived safe and sound. (And if you were curious, Audrey was the main doll and Mr. Swiggles was the extra, mostly because he seemed to be in less of a JJ style.) 

I experimented with the lace on the face thing when I was doing my first doll attempt (Maxine), and I like it so much I knew I had to incorporate it into Audrey's design! If anyone is curious, it is literally cut lace, soaked in white glue, and brushed gently down. A rather cool looking technique IMHO, and very easy to accomplish!

Humans and cats seem to be a favo theme for this kind of doll....interesting ...okies so not that interesting, but I thought I'd say it anyway.

Who ever said there's doesn't look anything like all the others...neither does mine.  But that is the cool part

Pinky_penguin, I love Audrey and Mr. Swiggles!  Wow, the painting on the cat is awesome, and the hand-stitched details on both of them add so much.  Audrey's cheeks are too cute, and the kitty paws are perfect!

I think it is very interesting that humans and cats are overflowing the gallery  I noticed that too, so you're not the only one who noticed that!

Thanks for the link! I like the word cute even better now! Lots of new words too and uses of the word cute that I didn't know. Hahaha, I will read it carefully before using one of the synonyms. I can see myself using the wrong word at the wrong moment 

The new doll and her cat are so well-favoured (see I'm learning already  )! I like the cheeks of Audrey, her dress with that pretty collar and her heart. That cat is just way to snazzy, those paws: instant love!

AIMR: we were on the same golf-length for sure (not sure that's English, but we say it in Dutch). Isn't that so funny? You were a great partner and I'm delighted that we were partnered!
