I am so happy to see a picture of your cute self with one of your sons!!  It really made my day! And, just to be clear, I bought the pencils already covered in origami paper! Cheesy  That is one craft I am not likely to do...

This was a perfect swap for using up some of my vintage kimono fabrics (I am also using them in making dotees!)...lol--I think Wendie and I both agreed that we will probably be sticking to making other things Cheesy  But at least we tried it, right?

I just love the mermaids!  What a cute idea to have removable tails!  I must know about the fused plastic head...more details sharalee!!!!!  The ruffled skirt is adorable!

Hahaha, Linda if you could have made that wrapped pencils by yourself! I believed it  Grin
I thought you would like to see a picture with faces! I wore your hat, now my hat, today with pride! Glad we have snow, so I can show it off!  Grin

Maybe not really our sewing/crafting style, but I really LOVE the JJJ-doll (Japanese Junker Jane-doll)

Oh and Shari, you made not one, but TWO mermaids! How great and pretty they are! With removable tails, only you can come up with that! You are an amazing doll-maker! No matter what style, you can do it!  Cheesy

No reason for anxiety, lovesclutter! We all have such different dolls, that makes this swap FUN! I'm sure yours will be just as great  Cheesy

Well Alwaysinmyroom, I think you and wendiek's efforts are always great, and I don't think a true JJ style is any of ours but the gallery proves all - these are all awesome dolls!

Lovesclutter, yes, no need to have more anxiety than necessary. Wendiek is right - it's a marvel to see all the different interpretations.

Hm, maybe we should do a maker's choice of style doll swap!

Oh my goodness, alwaysinmyroom really did spoil you, Wendie!  First, the JJ doll is junkily beautiful, I love the little sandals and the Japanese fabrics are gorgeous.  The hat--sweet!  And I have one of her pincushions too, I love it, it is a beauty.

Sharalee--I LOVE the two mermaids!  All the different fabrics and objects you incorporated are great--but the little one is almost too cute to be a JJ doll!

I recieved from Rosie1981! They are a two sided bunch that traveled with the Fenzienie Brothers Circus.  The doll turned out really great and I love it!

She also made me this awesome canvas. What is says is very true and I will be hanging it in my craft room.

Thank you very much, Rosie1981!

Rosie1981--what a great idea--a two-sided doll!  So original!  Very nice!  And I really love the canvas; that would be perfect for just about all of us!
