I received an awesome prayer flag from Eclectic Dreamer today! (well yesterday technically since it is now after midnight)

Here is the awesome painted front of the flag, with a tree representing the four seasons.

Here is the back, which included six of the words/quotes that I listed for my partners, plus some inspirational words of her own, and some bonus kitty love.  Sorry its a bit too blurry to ready the words, I kept trying but this was the best picture of the back I could get.

I love it soo much it is amazing!

The calendar page used to wrap the flag was also very pretty and goes with the flag perfectly, so I am adding a thumbnail, just because.

susanab I am glad you liked your flag, and no worries on the mix up.

Here's another pic of the flag, still in production. The flag is titled "After Winter, Spring"... to remind that things always get better. And the "Kitty Love" is where Sassy trampled across the fabric after trampling across the painting. A friend told me I should make that my "official signature" and stick a "Kitty Love" Sassy print on every piece I do. lol.

This is one of my first paintings ever (I started it, then did 5 Altered Playing Cards, then finished this one)... I've now made 6 paintings ever. I really hope you like it, wdicwg!

Oooh I really like the brown "Let Go" flag!

Thanks for the love on the LEAFY GOODNESS FLAG!

The bunting is indeed from book paper. Specifically a Hardy Boys book the spine had come apart from.
It's funny how stuck into "normal" we get. I never thought in a million years you could run anything but fabric through the sewing machine. Now I'm addicted to sewing "outside of the box"   Cool

***THE PAINTED TREE IS GORGEOUS!!!
Eclectic Dreamer, what kind of paint did you use?

Oh my gosh.  I love all the flags so much!!!  And I have one more to share with you (drumroll, please)!

I received a beautiful DUAL flag from flyraeven yesterday!  It was like an early birthday present (my birthday is today).  She said that she wound up making multiples, after the first one got ruined, to try to get one she liked, so I got two flags out of the deal  Grin

I really love the little happy faces on each side of the flag, they make me smile just looking at them!

Here is the first side:

"Plant what brings you JOY", with perfect fabrics and colors (and those adorable smiling peaceful faces)!

And, the second side (I can't call either one the "front" or the "back" - they are both awesome!)

A hand painted garden scene, with a stone path leading to JOY Cheesy

I love it so much...  Today there's a huge amount of snow on the ground here, and this has me happily thinking of the green and growth of my garden and the seasons to come.
Thank you, flyraeven!

Two more wonderful flags have arrived, I see!

Eclectic Dreamer, I LOVE your beautiful painted flag--wow.  So. Awesome.  I didn't know you had painting skills!

Flyraeven--also WOW.  A double sided flag, and both sides are lovely!  I love the clay faces and your painting; and the quote is really great.

Finally getting a pic up of the wonderful prayer flag I received from Jen Sews! She went with my ocean theme. I really love it!

Thanks!

Love the fish flag, JenSews! Is it a printed fabric, or is that some sort of bleach stamp? Either way it's great! And the sea life inchies are a sweet addition. (Can they be called inchies if they're jellyfish-shaped? Hmmm...)

And to have just one of Flyraeven's joyful faces on a flag would be enough, but FIVE! They're beautifully sculpted.

Leslieshappyheart: I didn't know I had painting skills either LOL. Actually, if the 1 painting class I took was an example, I'd swear I didn't.

silentblair: I used acrylics.
