i received this A-MAZING prayer flag from wdicwg...and it's a KNITTED flag!!


i am flabbergasted! i hope that many of the details can be seen in this post. the mix of fabric appliques on the sparkly knitted yarn are so wonderful, so out of the box creative. the care that went into this--outlining each small  letter of the word "creativity"--yeow!

and the bird, the fabric flower and the felt flower.

THAT IS SO COOL!!  I think wdicwg wins the prize for most creative flag--knitting never entered my mind!  This is a great flag and a great quote.  Love!

I received my awesome flag from silentblair today (okay, it's been at the post office most of the week, but I was just able to go retrieve it). I LOVE it! It is so me!



my photography skills do not do it justice. The brown background is a rich chocolate color, the flags on the banner on top are made out of what looks like a book page. There are leaves drawn/painted on them. I love the saying, it is stamped on what feels like linen, framed in what I think might be fabric for cross-stitching. It really adds alot to flag! Adn the big maple leaf in the center is so great - machine stitched.

Silentblair, that is a wonderful flag!  I love the quiet color palette, and the buttons, and the little bunting at the top--not to mention the big leaf and the words!  So pretty!

i just want to post and say that i made a terrible mistake in mis-attributing the maker of my knitted flag. im truly not feeling well...thank you so much and i hope you can forgive me, wdicwg
