WOW! This gallery is sooo amazing!!

I'm in love with the flag from WingsOfClay!!! Is it made on an old pair of pants? Beautiful transformation.

And the nature flag from Wulf is wonderful. I wish I could see it in person, to try and deconstruct it! Smiley

Smmarrt, I love the way you did the hand in the Wonder flag!! Very cool.

cabute's Transformation flag is as beautiful on the back as it is on the front! I'd have a hard time deciding which way to display it!!

The "Serenity" on Eiseldora's flag is a little hard to see in the pics, I hope it's not as subtle in person, Eiseldora!!

lol...susanab - GOL might just catch on for amazing swap galleries like this one!!

Three days without a computer has been awful!  Mostly, because I missed all of these gorgeous flags!!

I am loving the themes of nature, hands, trees, and love! Cheesy

Cabaute--Your flag stuck out because of the gorgeous batiks and the raven!

Abbeeroad--those circles re so nicely done!

Wulf--love the quote--gorgeous background

Cabaute, the batik fabrics you used in the "transformation" flag are so cool!  And I think flyraeven got two flags in one--the back is as nice as the front!

Abbeeroad, the colors you used on Eiseldora's flag are beautiful, and the embroidered circles are really nice.  Great flag!

Thanks, ya'll!  I got really lucky because of that awesome batik fabric.  I'd bought a set of batik fat quarters and was saving them for the right project; when I looked at some of the things on flyraeven's Pinterest boards I knew she would appreciate them, and they were the perfect match for the strong transformation/Raven theme  Smiley

So many more great flags!

I love the use of the sushi grass on the flag with the mini houses by smmart, such a brilliant yet simple idea, that looks great.

The flag by wingsofclay is simply amazing, I love the colors and the detail on the hands, along with the 3d charm heart.  I would have never thought the dots were puffy paint.

I also love flag by Wulf especially the (pieced?) background with the way the text is over it, it looks like a picture, and is gorgeous.

I also love the dandelion flag by smmart and how the buttons look like little pieces of it have blown away.

The colors on the flag by cabaute are awesome and the back is as beautiful as the front.  I also love how both sides have a bird theme.

Also the circles and stripes on the flag by abbeeroad are great, and the flag has an almost delicate look to it.

I received a beautiful flag from mbellish today! I had to take the pictures on my fridge because it is just too darn cold outside! (At least for Southern Cali it is  Cheesy)

She used the word "Grace"
I LOVE it!
I have some more shots to show just how much depth there is to this flag.

Thank you so much for this flag! After the long weekend I needed that reminder of Grace! I already have a place in mind to hang it!

Thanks, Blair.

For years here at the preschool, I made a quilt each year - either with handprints or hand appliques. I don't have my quilt helper anymore so I haven't made one the last 2 or 3 years.

So I visited the two-year-old room and asked one of the kids if I could trace his hand. I bought double-sided fusible web, but I didn't read the directions so I ended up just sewing the two pieces together and trimming after.

And confession - both of my flags are a bit larger than 5" by 8".  Grin Grin Grin

According to the USPS both my partners received today - I hope they like my flags - they pale in comparison to the flags here that are so beautiful!

I'm really nervous now...
