Thanks so much for the kind words, everyone. Smiley I really worked hard on it (although I was lucky - Wulf's taste matches mine perfectly). I'm so happy people liked it as much as I did. I'm hoping to make a whole set soon here for my room.

And! I received a BEAUTIFUL flag from Wulf today! Oh my goodness. I'll get pictures of it later today. Cheesy Wow, Canada post !! you're zippy-fast of late. -pats postal system on the back-

I have to say, every time I'm in a swap, I realize how unskilled I am as a crafter...  I love all the new flags so much--so many beautiful variations.  I continue to try, and can only hope that my skill and competence will improve over time.  I feel like my imagination always outmatches my ability.

A few folks have complimented the raw edges on Alice... You'll see that on my other flag also. I guess when I think of prayer flags I always think of that aspect of the traditional prayer flags; how they are placed out and allowed to have a life cycle wherein they slowly return to the elements.

I am in awe of the variety and workmanship.

Cabaute, I really admire your raw edges. I have such a problem with that! I made two otherwise perfectly good prayer flags, but I finished all the edges very tidily and I just didn't like them. I managed to force myself to leave the edges raw on both these flags, and I think they're better for it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one!  On one I left ONE raw edge (as the other was already done since I was de-stashing) and on the other piece I was compelled to finish the edges, although I used an unconventional material.

I received a great flag from pioneer9.  I love it.  Grin

I was playing with the photo fx on my iPod and loved this pic so I thought I'd share it too.

Thanks Pioneer9.  I love the raw and simplicity of it.  Thanks again.  I can't wait to hang it up.
