I don't need no instructions to know how to rock.

I knitted up a bunch of scarves for Christmas this year.

I used a full skein Sensations' Angel Hair Yarn for each scarf, and US 19/15mm needles.  They are 15 stitches across, and ended up being about 5.5' long.

I wanted to do something "fancy" to package them, so I cut some cardboard pieces and wrapped them in fun, glittery paper I got at Target.  Then I just wrapped the scarves around the board and tied it with wired ribbon.

My grandma really likes jars and uses them for all sorts of things, so I rolled hers into a large (1/2 gallon) Ball jar.

A few didn't make it into the photos, but they were all the same basic scarf just with different yarn colors.  I ended up making around 12 in total, so at least a couple are destined for charity!

What a cute way to package your lovely scarves!  ha ha The one for your grandmother is also clever!

I know that yarn and it is so soft and warm--I bet everyone who got one loved it!

Thanks for sharing your projects!  Did you manage to keep one for yourself? Cheesy

Thanks!  Everyone seemed to like them, though a few thought the back boards were another present.  Oops!  Hopefully they weren't too disappointed. Cheesy  The jar was a great "AHA" moment, and she ended up really liking it (more for the jar or the scarf, I don't know!).

I saved the first one I made for myself because it was too wide and short.  A lot of yarn makes me cringe from the texture (which makes knitting hard Roll Eyes), but this stuff is so soft as soon as I touched it in the store I knew everyone was getting a scarf for Christmas.  Haha.

Very pretty!  You have been busy!  That yarn looks very soft & squidgy!
