Just wanted to share a quick pic of my last minute from the kiln gifts.  The round ones went to my sister-in-laws, and the standing wave was a donation for the local Festival of Trees.

Both are beautiful! Did you paint the words on the wave one?

I must admit - I did try to paint words into a piece once using Glassline paints.....I just don't have a steady enough hand!  I used the decal paper sold by Delphi Glass.  I know you can get it other places as well.  It's pretty easy to use and makes for nice gifts.  The print comes out in Sepia tones.  Here's a shot of a photo piece using the decal paper:

Trees in glass!  I love it!  How nice to see a piece that will sit up nicely on its own...the shape and the textures are wonderful!
