Those are both really cool!  Is the castle and dragons your own design?  I really like the tilting 4-patch as well - I'm going to have to see if I can find that pattern

The layout for the castle quilt is mostly my own design, but I used images from the Internet to create the dragons and castle.

The link for the tilting four-patch is in the thread for that quilt - it's from Quilter's Cache.

I'm on a finishing spree - I got the one-block wonder quilt that I'm making my parents for their 65th birthdays done! Very happy with it.

I've had a few finishes lately that I've posted to the Quilting board but am just now updating here.

19. Board gaming friend's baby girl quilt (aqua, gray, red color scheme)
Vintage Boho Star Baby Quilt
28. Mini Quilt for MAQ Swap 7
Mini Modern Bright Art Quilt
28. Baby quilt for best friend's niece
Offset Arrows Baby Quilt

For this year I hope to complete one more charity quilt (I have all the blocks) for my do.Good stitches group and also make a quilt for my boyfriend's parents for Christmas. I have it about halfway done.

Those are all very nice Mare Mare.  I like how scrappy your backs are - I haven't ventured into pieced backings yet.  Do you have a guess on the yardage for the arrow quilt?  I think it would be really fun with a fat quarter set

I think I started with 5 different 1/2 yard cuts of fabric....it was possible they were 1/3 yard cuts. Sorry I know that's not super helpful. I can try to figure the math out more accurately later!

Doesn't she do a fabulous job with the backs of her quilts?  They are truly reversible...both sides are gorgeous!!

Greetings Everyone,

I got my last quilt done of the year. It is the second from the blocks in the third round of quilt block swaps.

I am gonna take a break from sewing. I have hardly done any other crafts this year. Think I will start another bead bag.

Top unquilted

All quilted final size is 103inches square

Backing and look at the quilting. I wanted to do a wrath but it was way beyond what I could do and had to rip out the two squares I tried to do. So I did an easier echo quilting in the white of each block.

thanks for looking

well and wonderment
