love that Russian doll fabric...I have a finish to report today... a crib quilt for the son of a friend, he is only 6 weeks old, so it is not too late!...

what happened with the January quilt challenge, did I miss the winners being announced? (probably did as my head is all over the place at the moment)

yay edelc!

Thanks for all the comments on my quilt. I had thought it might be too busy with so many prints, but after all your comments I feel less nervous. Smiley

Looking for teal/turquoise/aqua, grey and white (or a combo) fabric for a quilt.

so, hahahahahaha,

whimper. :(

my bouncing baby boy arrived home today and said. mom, i have the fav colours for end of the year quilts (when he was in primary grades i made a lap quilt for a year end thank you for his teachers. oops. last year he had a boy teacher and i kinda  thought we were done.)  Shocked

so.  he has requested, one for HIS teacher this year, one for his teacher from last year, one for the music teacher (who has been teaching him music since junior kindergarten), one for his french teacher and one for the awesome crossing guard who is retiring this year.

i was always going to make the crossing guard one.  but eep. 5 quilts between now and june. with everything we have planned going on. ugh, i told him he would have to pick up some of the chore slack if i was going to be chained to the machine.  and he agreed. also agreed to beefing up some of the specific colours with fat quarters paid for out of his allowance. so if anyone needs me.  ill be in teh sewing room. til june. Smiley

Slothy,  it could be May instead of March.  You can do it.  I can't wait to see them.
