Five days in, I've done nothing.  I'm really pinning my hopes on the three-day weekend that is MLK day, it seems I have something planned for just about every day and I need a "don't get out of my jammies" crafting day to tackle this!

I highly doubt I'll finish everything on my list. I just keep finding more and more quilts/fabric that I love. I always plan way more than I can do. Smiley

I think it's more about organized your thoughts of what you want to do, chatting with all of us, and a challenge to at least work on some things than finishing everything Cheesy

Sigh.

Whimper. Now i remember why i out down the hexie quilt. all the handsewing gets me sitting in a weird hunched up position and i get all muscley tight and dizzy.

Four more sections of five to sew.  Then ironing and basting.

Then machine quilting i think.

I dont know. I hand sewed all the hexies.  Then hand sewed them all together. I should really. Hand quilt it shouldnt i?

I just can see me making deadline if i do. Hubby thinks i should. I dont know what todo......

Seeking scraps! I'm in need of a variety of white on white scraps. (2.5inch square minimum) for pixel quilts. Have any? Swap for? PM me! Smiley

Do what is going to be easier for you sloth. Or if you feel that you want to finish your hexies by hand, maybe you can turn them into smaller projects? A tablerunner or a mug rug?

I found these 4x5 plastic picture protectors and I want to fill them up with YOUR art. Let's swap.

What a difference a few hours with my bff (and a couple frosty beers) can bring.

My hexies were started in 2009. She reminded me i was working on a 'duvet' cover for her when she was living in her apartment. In 2006 Smiley

We dug around the wip bin. And found the blues. Cheesy  and will absolutely finish it as a quilt. Duvet covers are messy work, and now her bed is bigger.

But now the hexie top is done i will likely hand quilt it. And i will try to have it done by march. Then its a four year project. Smiley

I can't wait to see your hexie project, sloth! One of my guild friends made the most amazing hexie dragon, it is so cool! I don't have the patience to do much with those.

I knocked a project off my list tonight and finished two other things! Woo-hoo! I finished my Matryoschka mini quilt for mcook (no pics until she receives it).  I'm making two blocks a month for do.Good stitches and am pretty proud that I got the January blocks finished already. I won't post them on the quilting board since they'll never be a finished project for me, but thought I'd post to share.
