Hey quilty friends! I am in search of a pattern for a baby quilt, not sure what I want so will be looking at lots of pinterest boards and patterns. I bought half yard cuts of 4 different cream and black prints in the Comma line and half yard prints of solids--Kona Bubble Gum and Kona Tarragon. I'll probably buy something different or additional if needed for backing and/or binding.

I'm honestly a bit tempted to just cut 3 inch squares (strips, more likely) and just make simple patchwork and do something a little bit more fun with the quilting. But picking a pattern is one of the best parts to me lol!

I would have maybe leaned towards a patchwork too.  CluckCluck sew has some really cute patterns.  I have the Juicebox one - it's fun and her arrow one would be cute with a variety of prints solids

I had to go back and see if I had said something already about the Cluck Cluck Sew Arrows lol! Cheesy I was actually looking at that one and a few other arrow style chevrons a lot last night. I am designing my own take on that! I need to get some new colored pencils for quilt design, I don't have enough colors!

Seeking scraps! I'm in need of a variety of white on white scraps. (2.5inch square minimum) for pixel quilts. Have any? Swap for? PM me! Smiley

I'm sorry for your loss Sloth.  That is a beautiful quilt and a lovely way to remember your friend.

Wow! It's great to see all the projects getting done this year. This late in the game, I know I'm not going to finish my 13, but I figured out a way to get close. When I made the list, I had planned for about half of the quilts to be for me since just about all the quilts I've made have been for other people. So now, instead of making lap sized quilts for me, more of my quilts will be premie or baby sized and I'll donate them to Project Linus. I just have to wait for my sewing machine to get out of the shop. In the meantime, I'm cutting the fabric so I'll be ready for piecing. Smiley
