Wow, those are cool. You guys have got to stop posting cool links/ making cool quilts. My list is way too long already, and now I just want to add more and more.

I'd like to join but I don't know if I will get close to 13 projects. Certainly not 13 quilts but if everything that has some layers quilted together counts I will at least try.

Here is my list:

1. stroller sleeping bag for son #2
2. matching hand warmer like that one
3.  car quilt for son #1
4. Dresden plate table cloth
5. Christmas quilt for mom
6. placemats

Please tell me if anything doesn't count and I will modify my list

Looks good silk81! We're not picky here, it's more of a personal challenge for yourself, and you can discuss with some quilty peeps as you go along Smiley

Welcome aboard silk.  This is a great place to keep motivated and working!

Yes Mare, it is one of those deals where I stacked up I think 12 fabrics and cut them.

I thought this was the tute that I used...   http://www.ohfransson.com/oh_fransson/2009/07/map-of-the-states-blocks.html  ...but it clearly isn't!

Now I am going to have to look for what I really did.

Oh ok, you know when I bought this book, I thought it was that method! In this one you're stacking up a bunch of layers of the same fabric! Now I'm curious about what you did too! Cheesy

This is the fabric I got to use on it, itsn't it great? I'm not always a big Amy Butler fan but love this!

I finally got the quilting for both of the quilts done. (I had to unpick several different spots because of horrible tension problems.)  I was hoping to be able to get the binding done today, but it isn't too be. My sewing room is also my baby's bedroom, so when she goes to bed too bad for me.

Catching up today.  The first one is one I couldn't quite get done last year.  I was stitching right up to midnight on New Year's Eve but still had 3 feet of binding to go when the fireworks started.

The second one is this week's Project Quilting entry.
