Thanks everyone, yes, that is me in the costume... I like the costuming more than the dancing, though since we do focus on comedy it's not too stressful getting up in front of people - if you mess up, they don't know if it's part of the "goofy" act or if you just goofed!

I was in a push to finish as many UFOs as I could, and I got three done yesterday, but I'm sick today and moving slllloooooowwww.  It's a shame, it was total motivation to try to finish up those projects that probably only need 20 minutes to an hour's worth of work but have, for whatever reason, been shelved.  We'll see what I can do today, I'll still try to get as much done as I can to start the new year with at least a few fewer UFOs hanging over my head!

I eat that blackwork piece, that's one of the things on my list to try next year!

I eat that brain protector too!

I have one last project to squeeze in these last 3 hours of 2013. I had a birthday party to go to on Sunday, so I knocked this brain protector out in 5 hours for the birthday girl.

That brings me to a total of 80 this year! Not bad. I think I'll go for 100 next year Smiley

I think that my husband has said that phrase so many times that I will need to make him that brain protector...however, he won't be able to wear it since he does work with children! Grin

I want the Minion brain protector...it is something I will put on my 2014 list!

bushbaby--I got the same book, I bet!!  Knitting socks with two needles flat!!!  I am looking forward to trying it as well...your socks turned out great!!  I want to make the flip flop socks, if it is the same book, see if you like them!

Deathbeforedishes...yay for knitting...a garter stitch scarf is always lovely!

I also have pictures for 2013 to post before moving into 2014....and I realize that I finished some of the items that were on my 2014 list, so I need to remove them and put in new projects!

I am also looking forward to swaps this year...last year I did so little swapping and found I missed it a lot!

It is the same book ! Im planning on doing the leafy 'Touch me not' socks in that gorgeous hand painted green yarn you gave me as a prize, and my sister has already claimed a pair of the 'jeans' ones  Wink

Strange thing - though I eat socks with toes, socks for sandals (tabi socks) just freak me out. dont know why but they do. But so long as you eat them that's all that matters  Grin

Ok last post for 2013 - here's a baby washcloth I made today:

Happy Hogmanay Everyone!

I only ended up with about 8 projects finished this year, but I know that those are 8 projects that wouldn't have gotten done without the inspiration of this board!  I've got a chance to get an internship for the summer, which would mean real 40 hour work weeks (instead of the 70+ I'm doing now).  Even if I can't do that, one of my goals for 2014 is to get my head back on straight, which means some sanity-saving sewing!  Thanks to everyone for all the inspiring projects, and see you on the 2014 board! Grin

I didn't get my Asteroids walhanging finished, it won't take too long to finish up though. Just finishing the quilting, hanging tabs and binding to do. Will add to 2014 list and hope to see a quick finish in the next day or 2.

HAPPY NEW YEAR
