So many awesome projects! They make me want to start another project, but I'm not letting myself to anything else until I finish this shawl! I have a few WIPs already, I don't want another one. I want to get this finished while I have the pattern memorized.

Challenge entry - something warm
Finally finished a baby afghan for my newest great-great niece (due Dec.21). I had to put it on hold for several weeks while I tracked down enough of the right yarn to complete it. It's so, so soft (Bernat Baby Boucle) that I just want to snuggle with it.

Challenge entry - WIP
A fabric basket to hold clippies, headbands, and other small items for great-great niece. I started this last year for another great-great niece but got sidetracked, so I'm glad to have this done and leaving my house!

I love your necklace shepBlue - and the colours in the hoop are so happy and bright! Lovely hats and cuffs, SilverMoon. And its is grat of you to craft for a good cause, Trinalocary.
And Kbrison - I like your blanket and the little basket very much - but I'm in awe of you being a great-great aunt. I want to be that, too, it is just so cool!  Cool Cheesy

Taramor, my sil was 17 when she had her first daughter who is my eldest niece. Eldest niece was 17 when she had her first dd, followed by another daughter at 19, a son at 22 and another daughter just 4 years ago. Both of the great nieces waited until they were 20+ before having children (my first two great-great nieces), but their brother just turned 20 last month and his daughter (my third great-great niece) was just born today! And the second gg-niece is expecting her second child in late May or early June. So I'm over run with babies to sew and crochet for. If you check out my pinterest you'll see I have a board just for baby crafting ideas because of all those great-greats! Grin

Very nifty scarf and ear warmer! The badge is the perfect touch. Hee, I just lost my ear warmer to my daughter.. Wears the cute coat that has no hood, too absent minded to remember a scarf, doesn't want to mess up her hair with a hat-in short,a typical teenager.  Grin
