Looking for Sophia the first fabric and Frozen fabric (preferably flannel, but would settle for cotton) and Phoomph.  I'm in Canada and the companies are that I could order from charge $20-$30 shipping, so if anybody can find some and wants to swap/sell, I would be eternally greatfull.

Well, I also figured that if they felt and are smaller than the other squares I'm making for the blanket, I can always add a border around them with a different yarn.  I'm just excited to be finding a use for the wonderful yarn...it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy (get it, yarn, fuzzy  Grin) to be able to use the yarn in a way that I will be able to use it every day and remember the special people that gave it to me!

And thank you everyone for the advice!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I'm in the middle of baking cranberry muffins to take over to the family's house where the rest of the feast is...in the meantime I'll share some stuff I've finished  Smiley

A rainbow eye-spy quilt for my SIL who is expecting in June. It's a bit early but it's a nice lap sized blanket too so it works for both mom and baby.

A ewok scoodie...It came out a lot smaller than I was imagining. It fits fine but I wish the front part went down a bit more. Oh well, used up most of my orange yarn.

Love the quilt! And neat idea to rainbow it! I am sure it will be enjoyed for years to come! These thanksgiving smilies are spooky, but I will throw one in here  Wink

I'm sure I've said this before, Sheepblue, but you do beautiful, amazing, creative work. Can't say that often enough! Lucky SIL!

Sheepblue that's a cute quilt! Love the colors! Cheesy
That scoodie is really cute, too! My sister wants me to crochet her a scoodie using Red Heart's Blacklight yarn.

I am doing a food drive in my city trying to raise 275 items (1for each pound I lost before and after weight loss surgery)  with the help of my local communities (live action roll players and Goths...trust me they really overlap in Boise Idaho)
I decided to have raffles and contacted my local crafter friends in the Goth community for donations, they really came through for me, as did the bar we hold our Goth night on Sundays.
I mentioned this because since I still need 200 items and this is so important to me that I have decided to step things up so anyone who brings in 15 items can choose either some of my Earrings, bracelets, spider ornament or a journal and if they bring in 25 items they can have that plus a necklace I made....as well as still having chances to win a set of my jewelry in the main raffle.
This seems to have motivated people because I have serious promises from people to bring in enough to get my jewelry... To be honest this is going to wipe out all my stock of vending merchandize but you know what...it is so worth it!!!

Trina, first, congratulations on your tremendous weight loss! My minister recently underwent the same procedure and I'm amazed at the will power she exerts everytime our congregation gets together for food. And in our congregation that's really often! Just last week we prepared her favorite stew to feed the hungry in our community and she didn't eat any because she's not suppose to eat red meat yet. Contributing food to your community is such a generous way to celebrate your weight loss. And what supportive friends you have that they want to help you with your project!

Second, do you have a deadline? Maybe some of us here on Craftster could chip in some crafts, too. It sounds like such a worthwhile project.
