CRAFT CHALLENGE

So, I was asked to finish a project that was started by another person.  These were made from crappy wood, and some of the parts were cut out already.  Mostly, what I did was to clean up the parts and do the assembly of 24 dune buggies.

They will be going to a hospice care facility for the Alzheimer's patients to paint and/or decorate.  They will then be sold at their annual art auction.  Sorry for the crappy picture.  This was a hurry-up job and the photo was taken with a phone.

I work at a preschool and I know for a fact that the hats will be VERY much appreciated by the parents/students.  Especially in low income areas.  For a few years now, I've been crocheting scarves and purchasing gloves and giving them to my students for the holidays, and I see several of the students wearing them for the rest of the cold season, and some even wear them the next year!

As a parent, I would welcome an extra hat...ours always get misplaced!

Looking for Sophia the first fabric and Frozen fabric (preferably flannel, but would settle for cotton) and Phoomph.  I'm in Canada and the companies are that I could order from charge $20-$30 shipping, so if anybody can find some and wants to swap/sell, I would be eternally greatfull.

Kookaloo_star, the second hat is my favorite. The bright colors are fabulous!

Ah, Christmas. A time when all crafters lose their sanity. I have a baby blanket to finish crocheting by Christmas as well as an elf and a hat; the latter two I haven't even started on! The best part about the elf is that a coworker is paying me to make it for her sister-in-law Grin

And I have an amigurumi to finish before December first for a contest over on DeviantArt.

Well, I just went back and counted all the projects that I have done this year.  If I count each item, I am well over 100 so far this year.  Happy for that.  WooHoo.

I have just finished another item for the mini 12days of Christmas swap.  I really like the way it's turned out.

Sorry I can't share any pictures yet. Sad

I'm always torn about how to count things I make in multiples.  I'd be well over myself if I did it that way.
