Bushbaby - Candy corn is a honey-based candy shaped something like a kernal of corn or a triangle. The small tip is white, then there's an orange layer, and a yellow crown. Because it's made with honey it has an earthier flavor than traditional candies made from sugar. And mama24boyz is correct in saying it has a somewhat waxy texture but it's not so waxy that you feel as though you were eating candles! Wink

Trina - I have a very simple, gluten free filling I use for mushroom caps. Just cook and drain 1 lb. of sausage, stir in an 8 oz. package of cream cheese until melted, then stuff and bake the caps. I make them when we're camping so I cook them outdoors in a cast iron Dutch oven using charcoal but your instructions for baking ought to work just fine for my version, too.

Mel - love that Victorian haunted mansion!

KK- good luck on the job search!

Sounds..um..strange. But I haver noticed that US candy/sweets sometimes have wax in them - not something we use in food over here!

Haha, no!  No wax in them, they just have that texture, lol. At least I would hope not!
