Here are the pics of the pillowcases I made for a friend.  I just eat the Star Trek fabric!  I used the hot dog method attack I found online! It was fast and easy!

Close-up:

and, I finished a pair of stretchy camo socks for me!!  I made one last year and made the second this week, so it is a WIP I can cross off!!

Ack--in the pic they look slouchy because I have not yet blocked them...maybe this weekend...or never...Grin...

They are the fastest socks ever...but I am still so slow! Grin

The fabric was sent to me by my friend...there is a bit left that I plan on making another project...I was secretly hoping for a small scrap for my quilt of many fabrics... Wink

There are so many pretty things here and I wish I could comment on them all. If I tried, I'd go mad so I'll just say I eat EVERYTHING I've seen here!

But I must say: alwaysinmyroom, that's some RAAR grr ugggh fabric and I eat your socks Cheesy I'm a sock person. I want to make myself some socks eventually.

Wow, it went too fast for me, so many great new projects.

A few I remember:

I eat the socks, they look warm and comfy but I would not make some for myself except if they were not available in stores anymore. It looks like a lot of work.

I also eat the shadow box, this seems a lot of fun to make and it's an interesting decor with a lot to look at.

Yarne is very cute.

I just wish I could knit. Knit socks are so pretty. I've seen crocheted ones but to me they just aren't as pretty.
I've tried knitting and it drove me batty so I'll stick to crochet :3

Those socks look very comfy. And the Star Trek is nifty!

Thanks!

Four years ago I swore that I would never makes socks or take up quilting...now it is all I seem to do..Grin. It is relaxing to me and challenging.  Sure, I still buy lots of socks, but there is something about wearing socks you made yourself or were given by a friend...eat!

FreakieGeekie--I have a book of crochet socks that are quite lovely!  I make yoga socks using crochet...they really are warm and still let you do the poses safely!
