The badge with the sole imprint of walking shoes looks great. It's fantastic what you can have an embroidery machine do.

The zombie pillows are just scary enough. Are they painted or is it applique?

The baby blanket seems very soft. The baby will sleep well on, under or with it.

I am hoping to finish the blanket I am working on tonight! I thought I would have it done last night, but my cat was demanding so much attention that I only got maybe two rows done on it. I tried ignoring him but he just went into my craft room and started knocking things over (which is what he does when he wants my attention). The other night he just curled up on the bottom of the blanket and I could still work on it, not last night.  Tongue

There are so many awesome things being posted here that I think I will start a new pin called "Craftster Awesomeness"  Cheesy

Hi everyone!!!  Love everything that I've been seeing!  Especially those awesome glass art, sheep!  Beautiful work!  I've still been lurking in the shadows.  Life has been really crazy the past few weeks.

I finally have a long term project I've been toiling away on for the past 9 months to share with you.  A baby!  ^_^  My daughter, Briella, little bean, was born on 9/16 weighing 6lb 14oz and 19" long.  She had a really rough start on life, though.  I had to be induced on 9/15 since I was almost a week late and showing signs of pre-eclampsia.  I made it to 7 cm, without an epidural, before little bean went into distress.  I had to have an emergency c-section, was completely knocked out, while my baby was delivered and stopped breathing shortly after birth.  She was bagged for 4 minutes and then an hour later started having seizures.  She was taken to the NICU at a nearby hospital before I even go to meet her.  Since I had surgery, I couldn't immediately leave the hospital to go and be with her.  A couple days after her birth, I finally got to see her.  Though it was still a few days later until I got to hold her.  At the NICU she had to go through a cooling protocol where they kept her sedated so that she was more comfortable and cooled her for 3 days to help her brain and then slowly warmed her back up.  This really helped her and she didn't have seizures after that first day.  Yay!  She constantly got better and stronger and after a 9 day stay, she got to go home with us.  She's been home for a week now, and its been so wonderful to have her here with me.  She is doing so well and we hope she keeps improving!

The first picture when when I first got to meet my daughter.  The second is her smiling.  She was so smiley at the NICU.  One of the nurses said that she was the smiliest baby she had ever seen!  And the last is from Monday, at home, 2 weeks old.  <3

Besides bringing life into this world, I haven't gotten anything else accomplished.  ^_^
