...I have added little ties to baby socks so moms can pin them inside clothing...babies tend to slip out of socks easily and it would be a shame to lose handmade ones!!!

Ooh thats a clever idea. dont suppose you have any pics? I think I know what you mean but Im not sure.

bushbaby--they are like the strings for mittens to keep them from getting lost...I will see if I can get a pic from my littlest nephew (if he has not already lost them! Wink--he is 15 months old and takes off his socks to go barefoot all the time!  I just crochet a small loop...I told his mom to sew a button in his pants, but she does not have time or skills to do it so she just pins them to his pants...I would say they are about 4 inches long?  They are far up his pants so he can't reach the pins and open them by mistake...safety first!

pinokeeo--wow--your spoons really show off the beauty of each type of wood!  I love how you keep the natural beauty...I have rosewood furniture so I am partial to that lovely red colored spoon...

Pinokeo, all these woods are stunningly beautiful but the best will clearly be your lovespoon.

Carolmb, you will be ready for Christmas before me for sure!
