Kookaloo I just had to tell you, I'm browsing this thread on my iPad, Daysie stole my iPad and started scrolling through herself, until she hit your dolly, she went right back and showed me and said, "pretty mama" heehee, it was cute

I've been really busy lately and have managed to complete 3 more projects  Grin

First up is a beaded scissors case - my own original (and exclusive) design. This is for a class I am teaching at my beading group next month. I still have to finish writing up the pattern but I have pattern tested the main part. The design is based on our logo (which I also designed 7/8 years ago)

Secondly I made these up. Just wanted to make something cute:

They make me think of knitted hugs Smiley

I have now updated my list - 32 completed for the year Smiley  And I have made a started on pieceing my Deco Quilt top after my friend & I spent 3hrs cutting all the fabric the other day. Roll Eyes

Can't believe it is fall already!  Looks like many of you are motoring toward or have gone by the 50 mark! Grin

Whatever we get done, it is at our own pace...as SilverMoon so stated: we don't give out punishment for not making 50! ha ha ha

I will be announcing the winner of the last challenge this weekend as soon as I set up my new laptop at home! (what set-up? ha ha)...I need to think of something fun to do for the fall...I feel a bit unmotivated to craft except for swaps...I still can't knit due to my hand injury...any ideas?

ok--back to tallying the entries and making notes to comment on the lovely projects...

K_star...I almost slapped a warning label on your doll...I think she turned out great but I am not a fan of clowns or clown-like faces...she scares me! Grin

I finished my first Christmas gift of the year!  Huzzah!

IMG4044.jpg by fantasticmio, on Flickr

It's for one of my nieces.  She can't seem to ever settle on a favourite anything (colour, class, tv show, hobby, etc...) but she *does* have a favourite class at school: gym!  Specifically, she likes running and long jump, so... that's what this blanket is supposed to represent!

(And not marching band bass drum drum sticks like mr.fantastic said... I know, I can't unsee it now either.)

bushbaby, that's lovely beadwork!
and fantasticmo, she's going to squee over that quilt.Very fun and unique!
I'm working on my last small mirror from Dollar Tree,  and might even get it done today! Went back there yesterday, and of course they didn't have any more. But, their stock is always changing. I did stop in the Habitat Restore next to them, and did something silly. Bought a huge mirror that needs a lot of work for six dollars. When our car is in the shop, and I am walking and riding the bus.  Roll Eyes Eh, I've done sillier things.

Small project, made some bangles for fun.
And yes, the hearts are nifty! I can see giving one to someone to carry in their pocket, and they'd always have a hug from you.
