It seems like so many of the things Ive been working on are one step, or a picture away from posting.  A bench that needs a coat of varnish before I put it out, a blanket that needs to be blocked, one more piece of molding to be cut and nailed on the door  But I do have a few more finished things to post.

30. Glowing orbs

Sometimes you see something in your minds eye that you cant get rid of until you reverse engineer it and make it.  I had a vision of these fire-and-ice, day-and-night orbs blowing in the breeze.  So I cut bits of orange, gold and red embroidery floss, dipped them in a mixture of glue and glow-in-the-dark paint, and wrapped them around different shapes of balloons.  Little suns by day, little moons by night

31. Admiral Anja hat

From a fun book by Annie Modisett called History on Two Needles, in which she recreates great works of art in knitting. This is the cap worn in a painting of a Renaissance English admiral.  Its an easy pattern to follow, and I really love the color work, but it did turn out a little more pointed than I thought.  Ah, well; its going to a friend with dreadlocks it may work out just right!

31. Blueberry stuff

Got a crazy good deal on blueberries at the grocery store, so I got about 10 pounds for $15.  Weve got blueberry butter, blueberry syrup (both new to me!) and blueberry-lime jam.  And 2 pounds of blueberries in the freezer.

More later.  Craft on!

It's never too late to join - and we don't give punishments if you don't make it to 50 either!  Wink

I doubt you live close to me if you got such a good deal on blueberries. That's a shame as I would have happily come by to taste your production!   Cheesy

#57 is a my version of a Raggedy Ann doll which was made for the OWS last month. I've always found Ann & Andy to be creepy and joked that I had to paint her face with my eyes closed  Wink
She was fun to make though  Grin she has floral bloomers under her dress but I didn't get a pic of those.

#58 is a wrap bracelet made for my hubby.

Kookaloo, did you have a pattern for Raggedy Ann? She turned out well - even if you may have painted her face with your eyes closed. LOL
