That is a very flattering style in how you made it.  Love it!

I think I forgot what the challenge is all about for this month.  No matter.  I've been so busy that I don't know if I lost a horse or found a rope.

I've been mostly carving.  Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos of some of my carvings and I sold them.  Here's my recent stuff.
Ornaments.

Another spoon.  I have a couple more, but I think I lost the photos of them.

And a baby spoon, my first attempt.  This spoon is only five inches long.

I also was asked to carve a small bowl.  It didn't turn out real well from my point of view, but the recipient was very happy with it.

This bowl is 5.5 inches across.

Everyone's made such nifty things!
I love the chemistry embroidery, the shirred sundresses, and the woodcarvings!
I've been slacking on the crafting, but a couple of people have commissioned me to make rayguns. So, I'll be working on those. I still need to organize and clean out my craft supplies. If we weren't so shorthanded at work I'd take a few vacation days.
Anyway, I love seeing what everyone has been making!

If I had been the recipient of the craved bowl I would love it too and the spoons and ornaments are very nicely done  Smiley I always look forward to seeing your woodworking Pinokeeo. Hubby bought some carving tools and so far all he has made is wood shavings and dust  Wink

Now my sister and my son are on the mend and I'm spending my time at home again I am hoping that the next few months will be filled with crafty goodness. My husband has a new job and works from 2-10pm so I have my evenings to fill, movies and crochet are high on my list of things to do  Grin
I have a couple of dolls in the works and a windchime to make too.

There's a lot of awesome stuff being made here! I'm still crafting but I'm in the Mini 13 Days of Halloween Swap so I can't really share what I've been making yet.  Smiley

My partner in the One Tiny Bird swap received so I can post what I made...inspired by our own Calabaza, following a link to a tute she provided, here is the tiny macaroon purse I made! This tiny thing has to be done by hand, which was challenging because my left hand is in a brace so it was awkward and slow to make...

I embroidered the little bird on top and leaves on the back...

it opens up with just enough space to hold some change, mints, a ring...small and impractical, but so cute!! Grin

pinokeeo - mind blowing skills as ever,

always - I LOVE that purse. Really really adorable. You must be super proud.

I can share! My hippy swap partner Samsara received!!

Here's a teaser -

And my three favorite things I made -
1) An A4 pea paper journal made from complete scratch (aka the plant.)

2) An oil painting inspired by a peacock feather

3) A little origami Elephant - so cute!

Gorgeous work on the macaroon purse, Always! Love that bird, but can't imagine how you made something so small and perfect by basically using only one hand.

PaperBeau, I've made handcrafted paper many times but have never started with the plant matter itself. Kudos to you for a great job!

Pinokeeo, love everything you carve.

Kookaloo, can't remember the last time I made an article of clothing. You make it look so fun.
