I could sleep and roll on that smooshy bath mat. I love its colors too. Imagine a bigger one...

Today, I harvested the first radishes. I had enough to give some to friends. Cheesy

Thanks, everyone for your kind words on the scalemail pouch!   Smiley

The smooshy bathmat looks so soft!   Smiley

And yay for radishes, they look tasty!   Cheesy   Is that some sort of netting over your plants (upper tiers) I am seeing in the photo?

Oh yes, it is some hastily put netting as all the tomatoes were disappearing from one day to the next. There are some hungry birds around my garden. I am thinking of putting the netting higher, which is why I didn't cut it, but that means installing some kind of supports.

We eat radishes with fresh crusty bread, butter and salt, so it is delicious, but I am not sure it's really the radishes we find so tasty Wink.

Mmmm, that sounds really good!   Smiley    Good idea on the netting.   They did that to our strawberries one year.  If we notice our tomatoes starting to vanish we might do the same thing.

Hey everyone - you all have been so busy Grin

I have managed to finish 4 things his week.  Grin

Firstly the Skoosh Shawl I have knitted for my mum:

It has actually turned out a little too small for a shawl (that what I get for randomly substituting the yarn with a 4ply) but folded in half it makes a perfect cushion cover for my mum's crafting chair cushion, so she's still happy with it  Wink

I have also finished the cable knitted headband usign the scrummy green yarn I got in a swap with BoyceMachine in 2010

And lastly I have finished a hair clip/barrette with beaded Daisys -  this is a sample piece for a class I am teaching in 2 weeks time. The Daisy pattern is my own and I wanted to show a couple of different ways you could make a piece up:

I have also finished my Secret Surprise present for my sister, but I won't be posting about that until next Sat.

Rainbow IS a colour!

So here it is, one cowl vest, modelled by the lovely Elsa:

My phone does not take pictures too well and it is a very grey day here - but it is 2 shades of green plyed together.

And yes, I still haven't found the darning needle so there are a few loose threads waiting to be tidied up.
I am quite proud of this because I used a completely different weight of yarn and had to do maths to work out the number of stitched I needed.
It has turned out well, quite fitted - perhaps too much so, since I havent been to the gym in a while and my tummy is very well aware of this.

renstar--love your sweater--I am also admiring your board...what a fantastic way to see at a glance what you have going on...I think I am going to replace one of my cork boards with one of those...it might help me get more done!  Wonderful!

yoopidou--your garden is going to be the envy of all!  All I have is one small clump of lettuce... Cheesy

bushbaby--love that cabled headband..nice use of special small bits of yarn!

silvermoon--the bobbled android cover is so pretty!  And I love those Ewok hoods...I guess you guys are headed into colder weather as we try to warm up here... Cheesy

The board is a great way to help focus and stop things getting out of hand..... If I keep it updated and stop going off on tangents!!!!

I also found the darning needle down the side of the sofa, so now I can finish it off and get it worn!!

Great projects all, I am loving the bathmat, scoodie and radishes.  Home grown are so much better. Yum.

I am so jealous of the garden, we now have to move because the landlord has decided to exercise his planning permission t build a house in the back garden, (no notice given and we only found out by chance), so I can't get my garden plans underway just yet.
The landlord is not forcing us to move, I'm just being positive and expecting a beautiful summer and don't want to live on a building site for the whole of it!
