quaggy--I love those little monsters!  Also, that patchwork apron is wonderful!  Did you use a pattern?  I have lots of apron patterns but I have not tried to make one with different fabrics like that...I also find the bookmarkers an interesting style...they almost could be used for headbands! Cheesy

fishstix43--what interesting fabric!  Is it a knit?  It almost looks like Calcutta cloth closeup--it was a popular fabric in the 1970's... Cheesy

mama24boyz...once again, what a fabulous blanket!  I know UTM and Lana will put that on their "Fire List"..it is an heirloom!

that1girl--once again, you are crocheting up a storm--I love the cowl...and the star hat!

The end of the month draws near...get your projects done for the challenge!  April 6th is the final day to post pics unless you have pm'd me about swap projects!  I will update later today so be sure to check page 1 tomorroe to see if you are listed for the challenge! (and notice this cool new feature we Mods were given!! Cheesy)

Took me a while to refind the post, even longer to find where I put the pattern.

Finally finished my first (and last  Cheesy) two quilts! They are LSU themed for my twins bedroom remodel - My stepmom has a longarm and helped me to do the quilting. There are a few baubles, but I'm happy with the outcome and the boys love them!

Twin #1 - binding in purple

Twin #2 - Binding in yellow

Tex - I noticed some of the fabric is New Orleans and LSU specific. Did you have to purchase individual pieces or were the fabrics available as jelly rolls? Very cute quilts. Bet your twins love them.

Kbrison - My hubby and I both graduated from LSU. I have been collecting LSU themed fabric for a while now. I saw the jelly roll race quilt and thought it looked easy and manageable so I cut all the strips myself Smiley

Wow! That's a lot of strips to cut. I asked because all of my household (except me, I'm a Northeastern State grad) are OK State grads, so I was wondering if a fabric company or quilt shop might be merchandizing college related jelly rolls. Seems like the idea has potential.

mama24boyz - Okay, I was drooling when I got to the pony, but then I saw the photo blanket, and was just in AWE.  I don't know how people have the patience (and talent) to do that.  I'm lucky to stick to a very simple repeating pattern...

trinalocakary - You're in the zone, that's a lot of jewelry work!  I like the pearls.  Also, I hadn't heard about oven cleaner and mirrors - had to look that up.  There was a project for Halloween where you scrapped off the center of a mirror and put a spooky portrait behind it, but it looked a little rough with the scrapes in the mirror - I bet the oven cleaner method would work so much better and smoother!  That project is back on my list now!

that1girl - Love the slouchy hats!

missmoppet - Nice bones!  I made some dog toys once, bone-shaped, using some plush fabric, and I found it to be a hard shape to get right - mine ended up very lopsided.  Yours look so much nicer... Cheesy

alwaysinmyroom - I've made the Totoro, ended up way bigger and taking way more time than I thought - yours looks great!  So much expression in the face!

ehinders - Such a cute, simple picture!

Avesthel - LOVE that pouch.  Always looking for new ideas for dice pouches, might have to try that, though it looks tricky...

katara - That mini potions cupboard is wonderful!  I adore miniature things, but rarely have the patience (or skill) to work with them.

kittykill - Very cute doll, love the face - can't believe that was your first attempt!

FreakieGeekie - Wow, I can't imagine the patience that doll is taking - can't wait to see the finished project!

texscrapper - Nice quilts - I have mad respect for people who actually finish them (I have about five started and in various stages, I never get the "quilting" part done!).

Hey all,

Guess what I am wearing? Undies made by me! Self drafted, need a little adjustment but I am super tickled with these. Made from scrap tshirt material.

And I have a few other items I've managed to finish up too.

A cross stitch pattern that deviates from the original in almost all ways.

A Dodecahedron Thingymabob. (true name)

A top cut down from a dress that made me look even larger than I am. I seem to have gained some weight lately, I think it is the job I am working.  Hopefully my shirt will fit a bit better once I leave. But  I really hate how it makes my breasts look like they are having a meeting with my belly button.  This seems to always happens with this style gather on me.

Doll dress and undies, a belated birthday present for two nieces. The two dresses were made opposite of each other, one had a blue ruffle while the one you see has a pink ruffle and so on. Both have the same blue tshirt.

One niece also just earned her yellow belt in karate so I made a Gi with a yellow belt for her American Girl doll.
