Finished a quilt, 8 shirt bags and 8 earbud bags for a charity event this evening.  I'm counting the quilt as 2 projects because I spent hours digitizing the shamrock for quilting and ended up learning a bunch of new things. 





Didn't get a picture of the earbud bags.

Wagonswest - that is a really cool quilt.  I love how vibrant the colours are.  


Well, I got another thing marked off my list yesterday. I finished the 'Goddess bracelet Bead instruction' leaflet and got it all printed. No photo to show as it's for a workshop I'm teaching in a month. I had hoped to have done it a xmas time but, hey, at least I now have time to properly sort my beads before my bead groups  weekend away in April.  

I am also almost finished my 'Secret Surprise' gift for my sister - I'm hoping to get it posted real soon as it comes under the March challenges "non-fabric" and "nature"

And speaking of the March challenge, when I read through the categories it suddenly reminded me I have a ball of gorgeous green yarn I got in the 'UK Stash busting Swap' of 2010. I received a fantastic box of goodies from BoyceMachine. As I said in the post at the time, normally 100% wool against my skin freaks me out but this ball is so soft I loved it straight away.  I have a pettern from a knitting magazine a freid ripped out and gave to me for a simple cabled headband which I now realise is the perfect use of this yarn. So I made up my 'kit' this morning:

As soon as I have finished my 'Skoosh' shawl for my mum (which could be today) I will get started on this one. Hopefully I can finish it within the month!

Bushbaby - I love that green yarn, it is beautiful. I just checked out the skoosh shawl too, now added to my favourites on rav!! Like I'm ever going to get round to doing them all.

Waggonswest - Loving the green quilt too, mine is firmly stuck in the PHD pile. I learnt that acronym yesterday from one of my quilting newsletters, 'projects half done', it makes me happier than ufo's 

I have made a simple necklace from embroidery thread, I shall post it later and make a start on the hat that was supposed to be ready for end of January.

Every time I stop by this thread, there are great new projects! Love the Potter potions cabinet and the caravan! I wish I had the patience for quilting... Really pretty!

My hand has finally healed enough for me to start crafting again, plus it is Spring Break week, so I'm looking forward to a craft marathon this week!
