Piling on to the group hug, Sera! Hope things get better very soon!!

The yarn/string drawings are so intricate and realistic. Very cool!

And what a great thing to do with old keys! Love their fancy Victorian vibe.

Sera, I'm sorry to hear you have so many troubles. I'm thinking of you and your husband. I hope you both will feel better soon.

Bookstorebabe, I love the beautiful fantastical keys, especially all together, as a collection. You only have to find a name for each one. I suggest " key to Atlantis" for the second one on the first row.

Thanks for the great explaination Krafty_Karasu!  I think I'll give it a whirl...or rather Lana will.  My Spanish is so rusty that I think I'll need something more.  Have you tried the Rosetta Stone series?  I am tempted to.

Bookstorebabe, love your keys!!  Smiley

I can't afford RS.  Sad  but I've heard it really works.

Sera, adding on to the group hug. **hugs** I hope things get better for y'all real soon. I know how it feels when it seems that everything that can go wrong has gone wrong.

bookstorebabe, I LOVE your keys! I adore things with key themes <3

underthemountain, if you want to brush up on your Spanish, I suggest "Madrigal's Magic Key to Spanish" by Margarita Madrigal. It's very helpful and I've relearned a lot through it. I really should find it and my notebook so that I can improve my Spanish even more.
Oh, and if you want to learn the more fun (read: dirty) Spanish, pick up "Dirty Spanish" by Juan Caballero. It's "Everyday Slang from 'What's up?' to 'F*%# Off!'", according to the cover.

~ Another one adding to the huge pile of hugs for Sera.
If all those things happened, but  over a longer period of time, you would be able to cope better, but when they all happen at the same time, it feels like your world is falling apart. Be easy on yourself, do what you can when you can, take one thing at a time, and know that you WILL come out the other side of this.
Both my husband and I have issues with mental health, and although neither of us have been hospitalised because of it, I think I came close earlier this year, but luckily a huge increase in my meds helped (just don't know what happens next time). If you need to off load, pm me.

avesthel--lovely drawing!  I love the simplicity of the black and white!

sera--hang in there...the universe dumps on you but it will also pick you back up--hopefully sooner than later...we are thinking of you here...

Hugs Sera. Don't forget to take care of yourself too. Caretakers need care too. Smiley

Avesthal, your ink drawings are great. I won't go near that medium, it seems so intimidating.

I have started knitting socks.  I started one pattern-but the instructions totally confused me.  So, I found another pattern thats written for beginners.  Oh, I totally understand it now!  Whoo!  Fun!

On the spanish topic.  Ive heard the rosetta stone is excellent.  But good grief-talk about an expensive way to rip off some one!  Does anyone have any cheaper reccomendations?  Free places online?  Or someone willing to swap for their old spanish learning course?  Theres so many spanish speakers here, that Ive decided that I am going to learn spanish.
